Prithvi Protea gown is a pure silk organza gown with protea embroidered appliques. The gown has bubble sleeves, elasticated waist and intricate pear buttons sewn at the back. It comes with a satin slip. Available in small size and can be made to order in your size for your special occasion. The Tatva collection was designed for Cannes fashion week and the designs have been photographed in the French Riviera, at the city of Cannes.
The design draws inspiration from one of the five elements (Tatvas) named Prithvi meaning earth. Earth, the first element, represents stability, strength, and groundedness. Incorporating Proteas signify the brands deep rooted connection with South Africa, where these unique flowers are found. It symbolizes our connection to the earth and reminds us of our responsibility to protect and cherish our planet. This gown is handmade by our artisans in South Africa. The silk organza is sourced from the looms of India.
Prithvi Protea Gown
Dry cleaning: Due to the delicate nature of these fabrics, it is recommended to dry clean your couture clothes at a professional dry cleaner who has the experience of handling delicate fabrics.
Spot cleaning: Address any small stains or spills on your garment immediately by using a mild detergent or spot cleaner specifically for delicate fabrics.
Ironing: Use a low heat setting on your iron or a steamer for your couture clothes. Always place a clean cloth or pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect it from direct heat. Avoid ironing directly on any embellishments or trims.
Avoid exposure to water: The Shwe shwe fabrics used in the collection has been pre-washed to ensure no bleeding happens however we advise dry clean only.The silk organza fabrics are non water-friendly. In case of accidental water exposure, let it air dry away from direct sunlight.
Storage:Use padded hangers or fold the garments neatly and place them in the garment bags provided to you.
Handling: When wearing your couture clothes, avoid contact with abrasive materials that could potentially damage the fabric.
